Frantoi Cutrera Tonda Iblea IGP Sicilia olive oil
Frantoi Cutrera’s mild-intensity extra virgin olive oil is made exclusively from Tonda Iblea olives. These olives are hand-harvested from mid-October to mid-November in the central-eastern area of Sicily, near the Mt. Etna volcano. This oil was a gold award winner at the 2016 LA International EVOOC, highlighting its exceptional quality.
It offers notable aromas of tomato vine and green herbs. On the palate, it’s intensely fruity with pronounced notes of green tomato, aromatic herbs, and freshly cut grass. The flavor is completed by an intense but well-balanced bitterness and pungency.
