Moulin Castelas

After 15 years in Arizona, Catherine and Jean-Benoît Hugues returned to Provence to pursue their passion for olive trees. In 1997, they started Domaine Castelas with old olive trees in Les Alpilles.

Today, Domaine Castelas cultivates 110 acres of AOP (Appellation d’Origine Protégée) groves in the Vallée des Baux de Provence and 160 acres on the Plaine de Crau. At their mill, they blend their knowledge, passion, and technique to produce intensely powerful olive oils year after year.
