The ATHENA International Olive Oil Competition (IOOC) is a highly respected annual event in Greece. It features a blind tasting by a diverse international jury of expert judges to recognize the world’s finest extra virgin olive oils. Awards include Gold and Double Gold medals based on a 100-point system. It changes host cities annually to highlight different Greek olive-growing regions.
