Cordoba is the province which produce the second largest amount of extra virgin olive oil in Spain after Jaen. It includes two Desginations of Origin, “Baena” and “Priego de Córdoba”.

The varieties of olives that can be found in the province include picual, hojiblanca y picuda. Olive oils from Cordoba are globally famous for their high quality, whether they come from the countryside or the mountains.
